Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaac Rico started the match with the kick off. Club Catigas were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Sisiguasi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Orzaize took the corner. Gustavo Orzaize made a great header on Club Catigas's corner, it was just that Sisiguasi's Cesar Librado managed to reach the ball for a save. Benedicto Barea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Club Catigas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benedicto Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Librado having to interfere. Cesar Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Rico in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Bernardino Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sisiguasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Dayam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Club Catigas's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Dayam came free, but Joaquin Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Angelino Galindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cesar Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathan Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Bernardino Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sisiguasi's Bernardino Dayam in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Catigas's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Club Catigas's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Dayam came free, but Joaquin Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sisiguasi booed when Club Catigas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Dayam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Catigas's Gustavo Orzaize got a free kick in the 58th minute. Joaquin Santana struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Joaquin Jakue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sisiguasi. After a defensive mix-up in Club Catigas's zone, Jonathan Jerico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Jakue came out of the goal and Jonathan Jerico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Jakue came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sisiguasi's Pablo Lander. But to his dismay, Pablo Lander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bernardino Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Jakue having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Galindo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute of the match Gustavo Orzaize shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Librado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Club Catigas's Benedicto Barea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Librado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Bernardino Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Catigas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sisiguasi had controlled the match.
