When Gogo Chap fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beraza's protests and gave Gogo Chap a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Beraza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Chap to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Beraza's Lorenzo Jerrold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Salvadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Edelmiro Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Beraza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, HAEDO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Ireno to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Bartuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Salvadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Edelmiro Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teofilo Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edelmiro Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Beraza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Lorenzo Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beraza's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. HAEDO FC's Ezequiel Salvadore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save HAEDO FC from getting a goal against them.
