Eliseo Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Arocena were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eliseo Fero made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Cordera during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariano Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes Atlas La otra Pasión's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herminio Alvarez who took care of the corner kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Virila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Atlas La otra Pasión fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Atlas La otra Pasión's Teofilo Bingen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cipriano Itzaina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Virila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlas La otra Pasión's goalkeeper Constantino Hermelando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Cipriano Itzaina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlas La otra Pasión fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the match was over Arocena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlas La otra Pasión throughout the match.
