After a defensive mix-up in ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's zone, Saverio Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Lluterio came out of the goal and Saverio Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Los Halcones Ratas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maximino Errapel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Saverio Fresco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Saverio Fresco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Halcones Ratas's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Fresco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Lluterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Segundo Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Segundo Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Segundo Seguinus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Fresco in the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Seguinus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Gotzon got free with Rogelio Lluterio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Halcones Ratas's Ermegildo Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Gotzon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Israel Nuxila hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Saverio Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Lluterio having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Maximino Errapel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Los Halcones Ratas's Ermegildo Gotzon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Lluterio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Errapel in the 82nd minute of play forced Los Halcones Ratas's goalkeeper Armando Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
