When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Romelio made a kick off. Sebastian Henrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Jobo in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Guayacán's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Mendez came free, but Sebastian Henrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Verna F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Henrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guayacán were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Real Verna F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
