Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Carmelo Macario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Constantino Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Macario in the 3rd minute of the match. Marcial Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Hermelando having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Marcial Peter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Israel Chano fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlas La otra Pasión's protests and gave Israel Chano a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Atlas La otra Pasión got a freekick which was hit by Israel Chano. In the 19th minute of the match Abel Sengrat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Hermelando skillfully saved the ball. Rene Maraman struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Generoso Txartiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlas La otra Pasión. When Cipriano Itzaina came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Atlas La otra Pasión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Itzaina couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Rene Maraman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Marcial Peter might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Hermelando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Peter ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcial Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Atlas La otra Pasión's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Macario came free, but Constantino Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Club El Palomar 's Marcial Peter in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlas La otra Pasión's goalie prevented a goal. If Marcial Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Itzaina was the one to do the kick off. Julio Birjaio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Birjaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Julio Birjaio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Cipriano Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Atlas La otra Pasión's Rene Maraman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Txartiko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmelo Macario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Hermelando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlas La otra Pasión's zone, Marcial Peter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Hermelando came out of the goal and Marcial Peter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Macario in the 75th minute of play. Julio Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Constantino Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Macario struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Constantino Hermelando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club El Palomar . In the 82nd minute, Carmelo Macario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Generoso Txartiko came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlas La otra Pasión's Rene Maraman. But to his dismay, Rene Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Atlas La otra Pasión's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
