Celso Abaurre scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Hermelando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Hermelando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Abaurre in the 33rd minute. The wind increased when Teofilo Bingen made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Libertad during the 52nd minute. In the 86th minute, Cipriano Itzaina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geronimo Lizer, passed just outside the right post. If Teofilo Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felipe Mendez struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
