Dario Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Leonel Pinto made a huge save. Alfredo Oinatz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Cadret got a freekick which was hit by Andres Galeno. Saul Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Luix in the 21st minute of the match. Alfredo Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cadret's zone, Rodolfo Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Iago came out of the goal and Rodolfo Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Cristobal Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Pinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Gaitano in the 38th minute. Saul Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rodolfo Luix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Iago having to make a save. Alfredo Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saul Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Luix in the 44th minute of the match. If Cristobal Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Oinatz was the one to do the kick off. GRAMBY FC's Alfredo Oinatz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Oinatz in the 82nd minute of play forced Cadret's goalkeeper Saul Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GRAMBY FC booed when Cadret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position.
