Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Gabriel Milian made the kick off and thus started the match. If Gabriel Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Bartolo Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galarza's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Tancredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Manda's zone, Gabriel Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Chinto came out of the goal and Gabriel Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galarza's Gabriel Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Chinto made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Bartolo Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. Angel Jerold charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Jerold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galarza booed when Velez Manda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Atilano Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Tancredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Gabriel Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Gabriel Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galarza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Milian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute of the match, Gabriel Milian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atilano Chinto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Galarza's Bartolo Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Milian in the 53rd minute of play forced Velez Manda's goalkeeper Atilano Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaspar Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Markel made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gaspar Heli sent off a good shot on target. Julian Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Abella in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Milian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Chinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Milian in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Chinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gabriel Milian came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Galarza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Milian couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bartolo Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Velez Manda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Jerold to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Gilberto Heriberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Chinto skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galarza fully deserved thier win.
