Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eloy Sarracino started the match with the kick off. Uriel Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Atilano Koldo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Uriel Dolfos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Botello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Ovidio Emeterio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vera's Uriel Dolfos. Uriel Dolfos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Tadeo Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Sarracino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Dolfos having to make a save. Uriel Dolfos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Sarracino's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With 26 minutes on the clock, Saul Eriz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Eloy Sarracino might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uriel Dolfos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Sarracino ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Emeterio scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Dolfos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eloy Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Domingo Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Vera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Roldan couldn't finish the play. Uriel Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Vera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Mercedes Corrientes were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Roldan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vera's Ariel Lico got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eloy Sarracino took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Dolfos. Uriel Dolfos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ovidio Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Dolfos having to interfere. Eloy Sarracino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Uriel Dolfos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Botello in the 66th minute of play forced Vera's goalkeeper Uriel Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Uriel Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Dolfos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Emeterio in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Eloy Sarracino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Dolfos. Vera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Sarracino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. A collision led to Club Mercedes Corrientes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marcos Panpili hit a great ball. After 85 minutes, Marcos Panpili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Mercedes Corrientes and the Vera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vera defense, Ovidio Emeterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Dolfos. The Vera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Dolfos should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Vera's goalkeeper Uriel Dolfos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Emeterio. A collision led to Club Mercedes Corrientes getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Matias Salvator hit a great ball. The Vera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Mercedes Corrientes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
