Eduardo Celino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. juventud centenario's Eduardo Celino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save juventud centenario from getting a goal against them. Leonel Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Soin in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, GRAMBY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Montrel's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Eduardo Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Oinatz in the 26th minute of play. If Niceto Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Luix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Celino. juventud centenario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Luix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Leonel Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Niceto Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRAMBY FC's Leonel Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niceto Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Pinto having to interfere. Leonel Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GRAMBY FC's Albino Barea got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Soin to make the kick off. When Jacinto Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GRAMBY FC's protests and gave Jacinto Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. 52 minutes into the game, juventud centenario's Marcelino Montrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Pinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After having played for 56 minutes, Niceto Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. juventud centenario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Soin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Pinto having to make a save. 61 minutes into the game, Erasmo Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. juventud centenario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRAMBY FC the free kick. After 61 played minutes juventud centenario got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Mendiko. In the 62nd minute, Rodolfo Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Celino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Oinatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Rodolfo Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by juventud centenario's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramiro Berenguer was slow to take the kick. During this time GRAMBY FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to GRAMBY FC's Alfredo Oinatz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. GRAMBY FC's Leonel Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GRAMBY FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of juventud centenario booed when GRAMBY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, GRAMBY FC's Alberto Chan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Celino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Celino having to interfere. Teofilo Incendio's shot from long distance in the 96th minute was not bad at all, but GRAMBY FC's Leonel Pinto knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
