Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leandro Martino kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Chamical's Albino Lobo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bela Torcida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vladimiro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Chamical's Eduardo Vincent couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morenillo. Albino Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Leandro Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamical's Adan Karlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Morenillo's Bela Torcida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Morenillo from getting a goal against them. Vladimiro Fonda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bela Torcida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Morenillo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Jorrin. If Vladimiro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Vladimiro Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamical's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Fonda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leandro Martino came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Morenillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Martino couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Morenillo's Bela Torcida got control of the ball when Vladimiro Fonda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Fonda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bela Torcida. Morenillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Fonda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 47 minutes into the game, Leandro Martino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adan Karlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Isidoro Basualdo's late challenge caught a Chamical's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Basualdo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chamical booed when Morenillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Basualdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bela Torcida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Lobo in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Chamical's Gilberto Viviano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilberto Viviano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chamical protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilberto Viviano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Chamical:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Morenillo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Adan Karlo, was totally fooled by Morenillo's Desiderio Quentin, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Isidoro Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Vladimiro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chamical's Vladimiro Fonda got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Karlo having to interfere. Bela Torcida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Fonda in the 82nd minute of the match. Vladimiro Fonda might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bela Torcida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimiro Fonda ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Chamical's Vladimiro Fonda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bela Torcida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chamical's zone, Mauro Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Karlo came out of the goal and Mauro Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Vladimiro Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bela Torcida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Martino in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Karlo saved Chamical from getting behind. Bela Torcida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Chamical manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Morenillo to win.
