Everardo Orixe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vera booed when Velez Manda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes, Raimundo Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vera and the Velez Manda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raimundo Aznar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Vera's Uriel Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Abella in the 21st minute of play. Gaspar Heli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Uriel Dolfos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atilano Chinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Froylan in the 32nd minute of the match. Gaspar Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uriel Dolfos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Roldan scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Chinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Froylan to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Leon Abella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Dolfos. Vera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Abella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Everardo Orixe came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Velez Manda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Orixe couldn't finish the play. Claudio Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Chinto having to interfere. Vera's Claudio Froylan got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Gaspar Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Velez Manda booed when Vera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaspar Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
