Basilio Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Loconte FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The supporters of Loconte FC booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Viator came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvaro Rami could save by the left post. In the 57th minute Uriel Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Basilio Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Basilio Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Loconte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Gabrio couldn't finish the play. Basilio Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ioritz having to interfere. If Modesto Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
