Cleto Gabon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Pastor Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pitbull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Traill the free kick. The supporters of Traill booed when Pitbull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Gabon's late challenge caught a Traill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Gabon helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Traill's Elvio Beltran in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pitbull's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Gabon was the one to do the kick off. Traill's Tadeo Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Gabon in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahmi Kutlar in the 53rd minute of play forced Pitbull's goalkeeper Honorio Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
