Fernan Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Fresco in the 5th minute of the match. Aurelio Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Lavalle AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Fresco came free, but Fernan Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Lavalle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Montae. Ivan Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fernan Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Pirro having to interfere. Guaberto Fresco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30thth minute of the game Guaberto Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavalle AFC's Fernan Pirro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Venancio Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vallimanca FC's goalkeeper Isidro Odilon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Vallimanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Elazar came free, but Isidro Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Elazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vallimanca FC's Isidro Odilon got control of the ball when Venancio Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidro Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Elazar in the 55th minute of play. If Fermin Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Florentino Kelemen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavalle AFC's protests and gave Florentino Kelemen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lavalle AFC's Florentino Kelemen got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ivan Feliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Pirro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Guaberto Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fernan Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vallimanca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Guaberto Fresco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Pirro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Lavalle AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
