Spectators: 7019 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elvio Markel kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Hereford FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Franco. Gilberto Ascencio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Ascencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Savoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Martxel to maneuver through the defense. Savoi's Abel Gilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Ascencio in the 11th minute of play. When Gilberto Ascencio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hereford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Ascencio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Ascencio in the 15th minute of play forced Savoi's goalkeeper Abel Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Hereford FC's Patricio Artizar got control of the ball when Iker Marz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elvio Markel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Igor Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hereford FC's protests and gave Igor Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Hereford FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Camerino. Abel Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Artizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Marz went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Savoi's Elvio Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Ascencio was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Iker Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Ascencio in the 56th minute of play forced Savoi's goalkeeper Abel Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Markel struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Patricio Artizar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savoi. When Igor Camerino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 65th minute, Igor Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Savoi's goalkeeper Abel Gilen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Izel. Americo Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Abel Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Marz in the 87th minute of play.
