Boruc Badanowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Izel's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Hereford FC's Patricio Artizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Hereford FC from getting a goal against them. Boruc Badanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Ascencio in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Alfred Skaradoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes, Americo Izel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SUMO's Boruc Badanowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gilberto Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Boruc Badanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 61 minutes, Roque Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Jeraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Roque Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 83 played minutes SUMO got a freekick which was hit by Sam Lobb. Arnaldo Leobardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Hereford FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Igor Camerino hit a great ball. Roque Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roque Jeraldo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SUMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Jeraldo couldn't finish the play. SUMO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
