Jesus Txanton made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Godfredo Polo sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo Erramu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Txanton having to interfere. Marcelo Senon charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Senon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelo Senon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DEA's zone, Octavio Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Txanton came out of the goal and Octavio Romo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Godfredo Polo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cavalito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Polo couldn't finish the play. Octavio Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Polo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Txanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Polo ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Bazkoare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jesus Txanton made a huge save. Aristides Chaime hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Godfredo Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Txanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Bazkoare in the 39th minute. Pablo Quinton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesus Txanton came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Quinton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Simon Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Txanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Romo in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Chaime to strike the kick off in the second half. Cavalito FC's Godofredo Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Chaime in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Txanton was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Aristides Chaime showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3.
