Lucio Ostargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Eron in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Presebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Ekain in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SAN BAUTISTA's zone, Aldo Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Presebal came out of the goal and Aldo Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, SAN BAUTISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Ekain came free, but Basilio Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Master Solchu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Ekain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Octavio Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SAN BAUTISTA's Froilan Suarez got a free kick in the 54th minute. The long shot by Vinicio Edwardo in the 55th minute really tested Basilio Presebal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Basilio Presebal made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Aldo Chale sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Basilio Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Bastia during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Osvaldo Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Ostargi having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, SAN BAUTISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Ekain came free, but Basilio Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAN BAUTISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Chale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Octavio Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Presebal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
