Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nunez Urre took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elena's zone, Mauro Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Sotero came out of the goal and Mauro Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nunez Urre came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Rinconada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Urre couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Rinconada's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Bortzaioriz came free, but Elvio Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nunez Urre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Sotero was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Lino Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Rameriz in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Elena booed when Rinconada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rinconada's Lucas Berdoi got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Elena's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Rameriz came free, but Lino Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinconada's Lucas Berdoi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Txordon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lino Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Sotero having to interfere. In the 60th minute Delmar Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Berdoi in the 62nd minute of play. Roman Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Ferdinand having to interfere. Nunez Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Mauro Tolino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Sotero. Elena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Tolino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lucas Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lino Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Nunez Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elena's Lino Sotero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Diagur's late challenge caught a Rinconada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Elena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Diagur to maneuver through the defense. If Nunez Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
