With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Sotero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Dante Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Elena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvestre Mel who took care of the corner kick. Ivan Bento thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lino Sotero, a very annoying self made goal in the 12th minute which led to 0-1. Andres Lon made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Natalio Vargas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dante Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pech a pedazos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Bertin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Txordon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lino Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Bortzaioriz in the 64th minute of play. Nicasio Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Natalio Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elena's protests and gave Natalio Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elena getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Natalio Vargas hit a great ball. If Nicasio Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicasio Oxel got free in front of the goal in the 77th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lino Sotero was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elena's goalkeeper Lino Sotero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pech a pedazos's Dante Bertin got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Dante Bertin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Pech a pedazos's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Txordon came free, but Andres Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Agustin Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Txordon struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Andres Lon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elena. Elena's Lino Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Elena from getting a goal against them. Pech a pedazos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
