Arnaldo Iliana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Godfredo Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Iliana having to interfere. The supporters of Licha F.C. booed when Naunauco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Eriz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Joel Ikatz sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Ixona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Eriz having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Naunauco FC's Joel Ikatz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Eriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Paulo Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Rojelio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Iliana saved Naunauco FC from getting behind. Niceto Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arnaldo Iliana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Joel Ikatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Licha F.C.'s Silvano Eriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naunauco FC's Arnaldo Iliana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Iratze in the 28th minute of play. When Daniel Lordi fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naunauco FC's protests and gave Daniel Lordi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Naunauco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Lordi to maneuver through the defense. If Godfredo Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Licha F.C.'s Niceto Rojelio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Adolfo Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naunauco FC's protests and gave Adolfo Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Naunauco FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Aballe. Niceto Rojelio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Arnaldo Iliana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Licha F.C..

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Iratze to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Niceto Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Licha F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Rojelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Iliana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Naunauco FC booed when Licha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Iliana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Fortun in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Rojelio got free with Arnaldo Iliana in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Iratze in the 71st minute of play forced Naunauco FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Iliana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Naunauco FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Iliana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Ixona in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Eriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Ixona in the 81st minute of play forced Licha F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvano Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Iliana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Licha F.C.'s Niceto Rojelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Iliana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Licha F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
