Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurelio Pacho took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Aurelio Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Huanguelén FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Pacho couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Aurelio Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Iliana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Chinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Naunauco FC booed when Huanguelén FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Ikatz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Anacleto Chinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Paulo Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Ixona to make the kick off. Huanguelén FC's Anacleto Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ixona in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Paulo Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Joel Ikatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ixona in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Chinto saved Huanguelén FC from getting behind. If Joel Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anacleto Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Chinto having to interfere. Anacleto Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Ikatz in the 74th minute of play. Paulo Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Chinto having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, one of Huanguelén FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Naunauco FC. Paolo Maule stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anacleto Chinto. 2-0. The supporters of Huanguelén FC booed when Naunauco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naunauco FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
