Arnaldo Iliana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Paulo Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Elena getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Roman Txordon hit a great ball. Joel Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Elena's Roman Txordon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Iliana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Elena defense, Joel Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Sotero. The Elena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Sotero should have stopped the shot. If Joel Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adolfo Aballe was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Naunauco FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adolfo Aballe hit a great ball. Natalio Tohias hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Roman Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elena's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Txordon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Iliana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Elena players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Naunauco FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Txordon made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Roman Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elena's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Txordon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Iliana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naunauco FC's Arnaldo Iliana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Bortzaioriz in the 54th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Niceto Bortzaioriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naunauco FC's Arnaldo Iliana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Isaac Diagur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Iliana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Iliana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Bortzaioriz in the 79th minute of play. If Niceto Bortzaioriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Txordon charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Txordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Elena booed when Naunauco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Txordon in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Iliana prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
