Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victorio Diaz kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Maximo Herena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pozuelos booed when El Portugues F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Errolan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Hipolito Jerrold in the 10th minute of play was well struck, but Hugo Ler made a really good save at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in El Portugues F C's zone, Maximo Herena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Ler came out of the goal and Maximo Herena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Oliviero in the 16th minute of the match. Fulgencio Oliviero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pozuelos's Paulo Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Maureo in the 21st minute of play. El Portugues F C's Victorio Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Herenas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Hugo Ler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute, Fulgencio Oliviero made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Ler. El Portugues F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Fulgencio Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ler having to interfere. Fulgencio Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Natalio Errolan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Portugues F C and the Pozuelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Oliviero to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Fernando Otsoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Portugues F C and the Pozuelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Portugues F C's Jeremias Maureo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Portugues F C's Natalio Errolan suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Bemabe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Pozuelos got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Bemabe. In the 62nd minute Fulgencio Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Maureo got free with Paulo Faron in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Herena in the 69th minute of play. Jeremias Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Faron having to interfere. Jeremias Maureo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Paulo Faron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Portugues F C. Hugo Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
