Felipe Galeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Harri in the 26th minute of play forced Millonarios's goalkeeper Felipe Galeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bella Vista's Hermengildo Hitz tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Ismael Inocente fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ismael Inocente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Felipe Galeno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Millonarios's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Harri came free, but Felipe Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Rolando Rubio got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to Millonarios getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marco Azevedo hit a great ball. Millonarios's Felipe Galeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Millonarios fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After having played for 90 minutes, Geronimo Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millonarios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Gonchan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Millonarios's goalkeeper Felipe Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Millonarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Inocente in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
