Hipolito Jerrold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prudencio Tercero. La Poci FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Pozuelos's goalkeeper Paulo Faron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Gaspard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Herena in the 17th minute of play forced La Poci FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Tercero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Pozuelos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Tercero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Canor in the 24th minute of play. Eduardo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Faron having to interfere. In the 35th minute, La Poci FC's Eduardo Sagrario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Poci FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Tercero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prudencio Tercero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Canor in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Pozuelos getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Maximo Herena hit a great ball. Eduardo Sagrario scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Faron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eduardo Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the La Poci FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Sagrario couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, La Poci FC's Prudencio Tercero got control of the ball when Segundo Qwinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes, Norberto Errolan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozuelos and the La Poci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. La Poci FC's Genaro Gaspard got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Alfonso Canor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozuelos and the La Poci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelos's zone, Eduardo Sagrario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Faron came out of the goal and Eduardo Sagrario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gaspard in the 93rd minute of play forced Pozuelos's goalkeeper Paulo Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
