Indacumpl's Hernan Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, ACF Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. If Hernan Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Domingo Unai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godofredo Gonzo, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hernan Naelio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Stephen. Indacumpl's Samuel Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Indacumpl's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Unai came free, but Godofredo Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hernan Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hernan Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Stephen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Godofredo Gonzo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Palermo's Domingo Unai. But to his dismay, Domingo Unai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Indacumpl getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Isaias Pinto hit a great ball. Hernan Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godofredo Gonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Ceandro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Guido Betadur made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Gonzo. Indacumpl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 77 minutes into the match, Indacumpl's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Betadur came free, but Godofredo Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, ACF Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. When Hernan Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Indacumpl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Naelio couldn't finish the play. When Indacumpl's Hernan Naelio in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ACF Palermo's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Hermengildo Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indacumpl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Armando Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Indacumpl's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Indacumpl may have spent more time on the ball, but ACF Palermo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
