After having played for 18 minutes, Ubaldo Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Navarro was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Victorio Diaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorio Diaz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Victorio Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Victorio Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Leo Cayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Talleres and the El Portugues F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Cornelio Quilino hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Natalio Errolan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Placido Jenaro scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Ler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Diaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Jeremias Maureo made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Navarro. Club Atlético Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A collision led to Club Atlético Talleres getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Justo Balesio hit a great ball. Benjamin Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Maureo in the 78th minute of the match. Ubaldo Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ler having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Jeremias Maureo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Navarro. Club Atlético Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Maureo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When the referee ended the match the El Portugues F C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
