In the 39th match minute, Bella Vista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Iztal to maneuver through the defense. Hykarios's Mario Barea got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Inocente in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Tauro made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Harri in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hykarios's zone, Humberto Harri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Bernebe came out of the goal and Humberto Harri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Osorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Tauro's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Hugo Bernebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Ismael Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Raymond's late challenge caught a Bella Vista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Raymond helped the player get up and apologised. When Saul Remigio fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hykarios's protests and gave Saul Remigio a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Bernebe went to the wrong direction when Hermengildo Hitz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Hykarios's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Inocente came free, but Hugo Bernebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Hykarios got a freekick which was hit by Mario Barea. Mario Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Bernebe having to interfere.
