Benjamin Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Norberto Errolan. Ubaldo Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximo Herenas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Benjamin Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute, Fulgencio Oliviero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximo Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benjamin Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Oliviero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Navarro having to make a save. Benjamin Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Herena in the 40th minute. Placido Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulo Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Oliviero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Navarro having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Oliviero was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Oliviero came free, but Benjamin Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pozuelos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Ubaldo Honesto scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Faron, making the score, 0-1. In the 61st minute Ubaldo Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Ubaldo Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pozuelos's Paulo Faron got control of the ball when Placido Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulgencio Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Navarro having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Honesto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Faron. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. Placido Jenaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Paulo Faron made a huge save. Placido Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ubaldo Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
