Octavio Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hugo Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Errolan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorio Diaz scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Galeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45th play minutes Victorio Diaz shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Felipe Galeno and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
