Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Garuhapé's Gerardo Maraman in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Leonel Fernandes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tormenta SC through an amazing save. With a little luck, Tormenta SC's Leonel Fernandes got control of the ball when Jairo Papo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Honorato Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tormenta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Orkatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Roman Claus came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Garuhapé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Claus couldn't finish the play.
