After 28 played minutes Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Cordareo. After a defensive mix-up in Inventaron el VAR's zone, Jonatan Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Leheren came out of the goal and Jonatan Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Daniel Emeterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Progreso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Inventaron el VAR's Bruno Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Lope in the 41st minute of play. Dionisio Daunte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gavino Orlondon made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Lope. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Bruno Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Austin in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Rodolfo Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inventaron el VAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonatan Austin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Gilberto Lope hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Jonatan Austin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Leheren, 0-3. Bruno Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Emeterio in the 86th minute.
