After 5 played minutes Churro FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Chago. After having played for 6 minutes, Stephen King managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheWay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephen King was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Churro FC's Mauricio Chabier got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Churro FC defense, Stephen King kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Ferdinand. The Churro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Ferdinand should have stopped the shot. Anibal Montay scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Ferdinand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephen King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Chabier charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Chabier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mauricio Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Churro FC's Adolfo Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Lico in the 17th minute of play. Adolfo Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matúš Marcinko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22nd play minutes Matúš Marcinko shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Adolfo Ferdinand and just under the crossbar into goal. After 25 minutes, Ceferino Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Churro FC and the TheWay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Churro FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TheWay FC:s goal. Adolfo Ferdinand had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Stephen King's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 28th minute Stephen King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Ferran charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The wind increased when Gregorio Gaizkine made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Matúš Marcinko managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheWay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matúš Marcinko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Ferdinand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TheWay FC's Matúš Marcinko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Abelardo Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A hard shot 59 in the game by Matúš Marcinko from a close distance when the talented Adolfo Ferdinand managed to make a qualified save. Churro FC's players were relieved. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolfo Ferdinand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Gregorio Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Churro FC's protests and gave Gregorio Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute Matúš Marcinko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of TheWay FC booed when Churro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. TheWay FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
