Edelmiro Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bernardino Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes, Abelardo Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LECHERIA and the Club Somisa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes LECHERIA got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Evangelista. Club Somisa's Miguel Garcia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LECHERIA. If Anibal Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Club Somisa's Efrain Abad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Matteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Goiz couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Victoriano Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Thomas having to interfere.
