Lorenzo Dabi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Bernardino Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracán de Tancacha. Bernardino Thomas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Paz went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, Huracán de Tancacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Paz's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Lorenzo Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Club Somisa getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Clemente Feo hit a great ball. If Lorenzo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Huracán de Tancacha booed when Club Somisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Club Somisa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huracán de Tancacha:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Somisa's zone, Lorenzo Dabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Thomas came out of the goal and Lorenzo Dabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Octavio Lamberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huracán de Tancacha and the Club Somisa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Huracán de Tancacha got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Lamberto. 43 minutes into the match, Huracán de Tancacha's goalkeeper Benigno Milian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Sal. Bernardino Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Paz in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Efrain Abad made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Efrain Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Dabi in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Anibal Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Somisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Dabi in the 57th minute of play forced Club Somisa's goalkeeper Bernardino Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anibal Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lorenzo Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huracán de Tancacha's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bernardino Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Club Somisa's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Dabi came free, but Bernardino Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Dabi in the 74th minute of play. Saul Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Club Somisa's goalkeeper Bernardino Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Paz. Benigno Milian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Sal went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Huracán de Tancacha's Lorenzo Dabi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardino Thomas. That made the score 1-3 after 84 minutes of play. When Lorenzo Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Huracán de Tancacha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Dabi couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huracán de Tancacha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
