The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes, Tralalhué AFC's Erasmo Kemen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Tallia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tralalhué AFC reached it. Evaristo Casado struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Leon Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camelacho FC. Evaristo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Cresitobalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Gartzi in the 15th minute of the match. Amadeo Txerran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Tallia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Amadeo Txerran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tralalhué AFC's goalkeeper Leon Jeraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leon Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Camelacho FC's Adrian Cresitobalo. But to his dismay, Adrian Cresitobalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adrian Cresitobalo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Camelacho FC's zone, Bernardo Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Tallia came out of the goal and Bernardo Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Tallia having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Cresitobalo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Gartzi got free with Donato Tallia in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Txerran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Tralalhué AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bernardo Gartzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Tallia having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Camelacho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Txerran came free, but Donato Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Amadeo Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tralalhué AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Tallia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Cresitobalo in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Amadeo Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Bernardo Gartzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Tallia. Camelacho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Gartzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bernardo Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camelacho FC's Adrian Cresitobalo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tralalhué AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
