Caminito Juniors's Elias Jesco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arizona. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Nesor was the one to do the kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Silvestre Honrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caminito Juniors's Rolando Innocenzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee ignored Caminito Juniors's protests and gave Zeledon Iturri a yellow card for diving instead. Fabricio Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Silvestre Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Caminito Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Calvet. Santo Lekubegi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rolando Innocenzio made a huge save. Santo Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Innocenzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Silvestre Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arizona's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Honrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Innocenzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Santo Lekubegi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Innocenzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Honrio got free with Rolando Innocenzio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Rolando Innocenzio managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Arizona's Silvestre Honrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th match minute, Caminito Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Jakes to maneuver through the defense. Santo Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Honrio in the 94th minute of play. Santo Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Innocenzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Honrio's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The Caminito Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arizona were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
