Romeo Deunoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Banegas having to interfere. Rosendo Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Marciano Banegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperial Warriors. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sesteadero AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Banegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. One of Sesteadero AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Imperial Warriors:s goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sesteadero AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Banegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Banegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Imperial Warriors's zone, Eugenio Maurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Rios came out of the goal and Eugenio Maurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Igor Pelayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperial Warriors and the Sesteadero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imperial Warriors's Igor Pelayo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 91 minutes into the match Rosendo Fidensio climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Marciano Banegas. Marciano Banegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Sesteadero AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Imperial Warriors's performance. The match ended with a win for Imperial Warriors.
