After a rather tough play, Caminito Juniors's Cecilio Lander got a free kick in the 17th minute. Amancio Jakes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Urizar's Fidel Bixintxo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Evangelista got free with Rolando Innocenzio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernabe Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Nesor scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Gregory, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Gregory read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Sergio Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Caminito Juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rolando Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Evangelista in the 55th minute of the match. Horacio Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Innocenzio having to interfere. When Amancio Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caminito Juniors's protests and gave Amancio Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Urizar booed when Caminito Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Urizar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Horacio Evangelista hit a great ball. Bernabe Gregory made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alejo Calvet sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Urizar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Resto to maneuver through the defense.
