Everardo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Mendebal having to interfere. Baldomiro Inautzi charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Inautzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The CAFC MIDLAND fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when CAFC MIDLAND's Shkëlzen Zogu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the game, Leo Foro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAFC MIDLAND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Zaparrastrozos the free kick. After 21 played minutes CAFC MIDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Leo Foro. If Casimiro Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fidel Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Foro got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Shkëlzen Zogu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 39thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fidel Kepa would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. CAFC MIDLAND's Casimiro Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Shkëlzen Zogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Lohitzun was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shkëlzen Zogu in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Kepa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Shkëlzen Zogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Moises Mendebal made a huge save. A collision led to CAFC MIDLAND getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Delmiro Guillerme hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Shkëlzen Zogu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAFC MIDLAND fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Shkëlzen Zogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Casimiro Egun made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Kepa. Los Zaparrastrozos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Everardo Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Zaparrastrozos's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Belmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Zaparrastrozos's Fidel Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Egun in the 83rd minute of play. If Shkëlzen Zogu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sebastián Coates managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAFC MIDLAND's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Coates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Casimiro Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Everardo Belmiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. CAFC MIDLAND walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
