But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Cordeara couldn't finish the play. Moises Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Galeno in the 8th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Marcial Galeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAFC MIDLAND's Moises Mendebal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moises Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Foro's late challenge caught a Miramar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Miramar booed when CAFC MIDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Mendebal having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shkëlzen Zogu was the one to do the kick off. Miramar's Manuel Johans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Miramar from getting a goal against them. CAFC MIDLAND's Moises Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jakes in the 57th minute of play. Manuel Johans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shkëlzen Zogu in the 59th minute. If Casimiro Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. Manuel Johans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shkëlzen Zogu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of CAFC MIDLAND's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CAFC MIDLAND may have spent more time on the ball, but Miramar were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
