The shot was a little too simple and Leonardo Abad could save by the left post. Edgard Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Burni in the 27th minute of the match. After 29 minutes Mataro AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Tonete who took care of the corner kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mataro AFC fully deserved thier win.
