Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Macario kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Mendiko during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Durañona getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mauricio Mendiko hit a great ball. Segundo Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mateo Cordera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Paulo Macario sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Paulo Macario lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mateo Cordera. Alejo Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Durañona's Baltasar Claus managed to work through Academia Racing Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Baltasar Claus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mateo Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Macario in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Academia Racing Club booed when Durañona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roman Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes Academia Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Mergildo. Roman Etxekopar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Segundo Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Erdiano in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Erdiano was the one to do the kick off. When Durañona's Baltasar Claus in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes, Eduardo Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Racing Club and the Durañona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Durañona's zone, Claudio Erdiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Urtats came out of the goal and Claudio Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes, Durañona's Gilberto Anaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Cordera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durañona reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Mergildo got free with Segundo Urtats in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Baltasar Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Macario in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Cordera saved Academia Racing Club from getting behind. After having played for 83 minutes, Baltasar Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durañona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Macario in the 85th minute of play forced Academia Racing Club's goalkeeper Mateo Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Cordera having to interfere. Mateo Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Urtats having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Durañona had won after a very even match.
