The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ñamfi FC's Giuseppe Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ñamfi FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eneas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chateaubriand FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Damian Claus hit a great ball. Everardo Eneas came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ñamfi FC's Giuseppe Costa. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Giuseppe Costa fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ñamfi FC's protests and gave Giuseppe Costa a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lazcano in the 22nd minute of play forced Ñamfi FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Ñamfi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Ethem Çelikkan to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chateaubriand FC's Arnulfo Lazcano got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chateaubriand FC's zone, Lino Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Eneas came out of the goal and Lino Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand FC's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Çelikkan came free, but Everardo Eneas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 46 in the game by İbrahim Ethem Çelikkan from a close distance when the talented Everardo Eneas managed to make a qualified save. Chateaubriand FC's players were relieved. Giuseppe Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Everardo Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Chateaubriand FC's Arnulfo Lazcano in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ñamfi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Giuseppe Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Eneas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Isaias Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chateaubriand FC's Everardo Eneas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Ethem Çelikkan in the 67th minute of play. Lino Vincent struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Everardo Eneas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñamfi FC. Arturo Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chateaubriand FC's zone, Giuseppe Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Eneas came out of the goal and Giuseppe Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Ñamfi FC were the better team. Ñamfi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
