Felix Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Isidro Azibar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 18 minutes into the match, Uspallata's Isidro Azibar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Urtats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Lluis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Macario went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Felix Lluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Uspallata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vinicio Milian who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vinicio Milian got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Lluis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Lluis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Claus in the 31st minute of play. When Marciano Cloyo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Uspallata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Cloyo couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Baltasar Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Marciano Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uspallata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Durañona were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Candido Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Macario in the 70th minute of play forced Uspallata's goalkeeper Felix Lluis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Durañona's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Azibar came free, but Segundo Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Ricart hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Marciano Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uspallata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Durañona the free kick. In the 96th minute, Luciano Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Uspallata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
