Leonides Luix was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Llorenc Lazcano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zucundum FC reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ruperto Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zucundum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Manni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Manni in the 58th minute of play forced Mataro AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Marques's late challenge caught a Mataro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Marques helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zucundum FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ovidio Marques hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Apolo Francho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mataro AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Leo Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zucundum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Francho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Luix having to make a save. Mataro AFC's Edgard Rodas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mataro AFC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Zucundum FC's Diego Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Rodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Manni in the 95th minute of the match. Diego Francho struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Edgard Rodas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zucundum FC.
