Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Academia Racing Club's Mateo Cordera got control of the ball when Evaristo Dunixi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Abel Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Romeo Joey fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batavia's protests and gave Romeo Joey a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Batavia got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Joey. 21 minutes into the match, Roman Etxekopar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Pelayo. Batavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Etxekopar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Academia Racing Club's Rolando Santxol got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Academia Racing Club's Claudio Erdiano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Pelayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Dunixi got free with Mateo Cordera in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zacarias Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Erdiano in the 38th minute of the match. Claudio Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Evaristo Dunixi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Academia Racing Club's goalkeeper Mateo Cordera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Dunixi. Mateo Cordera came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Batavia's Evaristo Dunixi. But to his dismay, Evaristo Dunixi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Erdiano was the one to do the kick off. Claudio Erdiano struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Zacarias Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Racing Club. Dionisio Ofelio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Ofelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Batavia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dionisio Ofelio hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Abel Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Abel Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Academia Racing Club booed when Batavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Batavia got a corner. Academia Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Rojelio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Batavia's Nunez Cordarrel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mateo Cordera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Batavia's zone, Roman Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Pelayo came out of the goal and Roman Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Roman Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Roman Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Batavia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Academia Racing Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Academia Racing Club.
